Ainsi, la Diaspora Batista Malagasy, association basée en France et fondée en 2006 vous invite pour la rencontre annuelle qui se tiendra cette année à Le Chesnay, dans les Yvelines (Ile-de-France).

Les épées sont faites pour tuer

Dans le  nouveau testament les épées n'étaient pas faites pour creuser, raser, ou tailler. Elles étaient faites pour tuer.
La seule raison Peter a découpé l'oreille de Malchus' c'était parce qu'il a manqué à sa cible (John 18 : 10).
Mais Herode, lui il n'a pas manqué son coup " Il a tué James le frère de John avec l'épee" ; (Actes 12:2).
Beaucoup de saints ont senti dans leur vie la force de l'épée: «Ils ont été lapidés, ils ont été sciés en deux, ils ont été tués par l'épée" (Hébreux 11:37). Ça a toujours été comme ça et le restera toujours: "Si quelqu'un doit être tué par l'épée, avec l'épée il doit être tué" (Apocalypse 13:10).
C'est pour cela que les épées sont faites. Ainsi, lorsque Paul appelle la parole de Dieu «l'épée de l'âme», dans Ephésiens 6:17, il est bien sérieux, quelque chose doit être mis à mort. Et il ne s'agit pas de personnes. Nous, les chrétiens ne tuons pas les gens pour propager notre foi, par contre nous mourons pour proclamer notre foi.
Voici ce que dit Paul dans Romain 8:13
"Si par l'esprit vous mettez à mort les oeuvres du corps, vous vivrez"
La parole de Dieu est l'épée de l'âme. L'épée est faite pour tuer. Et par l'Esprit nous mettons à mort les oeuvres du péché. J'en conclue que nous tuons nos péchés avec l'épée de l'âme, qui est la Parole de Dieu.
Toutes les tentations du péché sont rendues puissante  grâce au mensonge qui les composent. Ce ne sont que des "désirs trompeurs " (Ephésiens 4:22). Ils nous affirment souvent que le plaisir du péché en vaut toute la peine du monde, et que c'est sensationnel. La puissance de la vérité de Dieu est là pour massacrer ces mensonges . L'épée de l'âme, la Parole de Dieu, est l'arme absolu à utiliser.
Comme l'a dit John Owen "Tuez le péché, ou il vous tuera.".  C'est pour cela que nous avons besoin de ces épées, qui sont contenues particulièrement dans la bible.
